For more than a decade, Holt served on the faculty of Whitley College as Senior Lecturer in Spirituality and Practical Theology. His contribution to the college, the university and the wider church was described as significant, with former colleagues and students remembering the influence he had through his teaching, ministry and friendship.
After leaving Whitley College in 2010, Holt became Senior Pastor at Collins Street Baptist Church in Melbourne’s CBD, continuing his work in Christian ministry and leadership.
