Family and friends of Eric Seidel are preparing to gather in Merrill, Wisconsin, to remember and celebrate his life following his reported passing.
Eric’s visitation and funeral arrangements have been announced, giving loved ones and members of the community an opportunity to come together, offer condolences, and share memories of a life that meant so much to them.
The first visitation will take place on Thursday, September 3, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Taylor-Stine-Waid Funeral Home, 301 Eagle Drive, Merrill, Wisconsin.
A second visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
In a personal request, Eric’s family has invited those attending to wear what they are calling “Eric Clothes” as a way of honoring his personality and the things he enjoyed. Guests are encouraged to wear a baseball hat, jeans, camouflage, flannel, or a hunting shirt.
Following the funeral service, family and friends will gather for a celebration of life, with additional details expected to be shared by the family.
Eric was connected to the Merrill community and had worked as a log yard utility at LP Building Products in Tomahawk. He also previously worked at Central Wisconsin Evergreen and attended Merrill High School.
Funeral gatherings such as these provide an opportunity for loved ones to support one another while reflecting on the memories and experiences they shared with Eric. Wearing familiar clothing associated with him may make the celebration especially personal and meaningful for those who knew him well.
